■ Astralin's Farm

Built in the meadowlands with the help of a number of hands, Astralin's farm is home to numerous animals: various pigs including at least two mountain boar (originally piglets); cows, horses, and sheep graze on the land; there's also a coop for chickens. A blue motorbike has been left stored in the barn, seemingly untouched in awhile.

The animals are never killed for their meat, making this more sanctuary than farm. Appropriately, anyone who bears ill-intent will find that the area is well-protected by magic.

Due to this protection, the farm is often used as a safe house for Chosen during times of danger within or around the city.

■ Farm House

The farmhouse on the property is a 5-bedroom, low tech cottage style building. Currently being used as extra space and backup for the Willow Clinic while there are no permanent residents on location.

The basement has been converted to a Japanese style (Minshuku inspired) bed and breakfast, with kitchenette, 3 additional bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a bar plus gaming and social rooms for entertainment. There's additional storage for food and supplies in the event of an emergency as well.

■ Hot Springs

An addition to the farm, Astralin added a hot springs nearby where fellow Chosen can relax. When open, Scramble - or someone in his absence - will be there to greet guests. Aldrip citizens may even provide massages and other services, if asked.

There's a japanese inspired look to the hot springs, originally thanks to Kotone's influence. It is kept clean at all times, and towels are provided for guests. Following the trend set by Astralin, Kurama ensures that the onsen is stocked up with snacks, which are provided at the entrance for anyone interested.

Guests will also notice that the magical barrier extends out to the hot springs as well, but that is simply to keep them protected while they are at their most vulnerable.

Cats

Many barn cats can be found both on the farm and around the onsen. Chosen are welcome to visit with, adopt, or take any home that they would like. Some may even follow Chosen temporarily before returning to the farmland once they are done visiting elsewhere. These cats may be spotted almost anywhere in, or on the outskirts of, Aldrip.

A coop on the farm is home to many hens and several roosters of various size and breed.

Please be as specific as you'd like, how often information is updated or the frequency of meetings (weekly, monthly, bi-monthly on app months etc.)

i.e:
▪︎ A will post flyers or signage with information on how to get involved in or find meetings for information sharing/gathering/organizing
▪︎ B will post a bulletin with contact info to reach out to them directly for info
▪︎ C will be leaving the information itself in whatever capacity is most appropriate (text packets, digital files etc.) on site
▪︎ D will actually be holding information gathering/sharing meetings on location at the farm.

Feel free to link to any info posts, whether player made or from the mod posted locations page. Characters do not need authorization to post advertisements from the establishment, Kurama isn't exactly going to double check. (However, please be respectful of other player's wishes and communicate ooc before submitting on behalf of others.)

ICly, Kurama will prioritize affiliation with places that relate to communal wellness like the clinic, but exceptions will be made for characters he's built a trusting relationship with and believes to be concerned for the common good. For instance, he'll post ads for a bar or café, but he's not going to affiliate with those unless he gets to know the owner and there's some Chosen information network associated there, or something along those lines.

• Kurama's teaching leans more into survival training: growing and harvesting crops, safe food for foraging, ingredients that can be used in a pinch for medicinal purposes etc.

▪︎ most logical application for the property would be those with animal or plant related education, experience, training, skills etc. As the property is being used an extension of the clinic of sorts, healing or medicinal training would also be appropriate.

▪︎ there is an acre of land, if you can think of other ways to make use of it let me know! as a reminder, the land itself is protected so that no harm is caused. Kurama will not exactly be encouraging combat training on the property with so many other places to go for that.

The volunteering is an unofficial list to reference for handwaving or CR building opportunities. Feel free to include any information about what they do or the best times/areas to catch them. Although it will give me an idea of who is around regularly, CR with Kurama is not required to use or help out on the property.

There is an official list for employment with paying gigs, wages vary based on work load and hours, they may include bartering and trade deals as well.
