I suppose that might be plausible, in theory. I have to admit I have never exactly taught spiritual awareness to anyone, and being away from our home worlds may complicate any attempt at lessons further.

May I ask where you heard this from?

Honing existing spiritual awareness would certainly be much easier than attempting to teach it from scratch. Could you share what experience you already have? It would help narrow down a potential plan of action, assuming they are related.

Then it does indeed sound as if your sensing ability is similar enough to our own to explore what else you might be capable of. Unfortunately, there is only one of us here from my own world that is able to use spirit energy and I highly doubt he's what one might call a good teacher. My own experience has actually been with hands on training in physical combat, if that might be of interest.
